I like to make games and have spent the last 6 years doing just that! I've built platformers, text adventures, maze games, and even a connect 4 themed game all using my own custom java based game engine. I'm experienced with game engines like unity and gamemaker studio, but I prefer to build games using my own custom tools because it feels more satisfying to build the whole game from the ground up using my programming skills.
I got started with programming when I was in high school, my friend was working on a game and I learned how to code to help him with it. After graduation I immediately knew that coding was for me, so I enrolled at Iowa State University and earned a bachelor's in software engineering. During my time there I honed my skills and started taking more time to make my games more and more polished.
I currently work for RFA Engineering building computer vision systems for combine automation.
